International Shipping Policy
We currently ship to the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and the Netherlands! All orders ship for free to the USA, however, international orders do not qualify for free shipping.
International customers, please go to our Etsy shop to make your purchase, as Etsy will make the process go much more smoothly!
Once you make a purchase, your credit card company will bill you with your local currency at the current exchange rate.
All international orders are shipped via USPS International First Class Shipping with tracking included. We offer optional shipping insurance to your orders as well, if you would like to add it to your order.
Please note that the Kittie Treats Shop does not control—and is not responsible for—any duties levied (including VAT), taxes, broker fees, customs fees charged, or other actions taken by Customs authorities in the destination country. International customers must pay all applicable shipping charges and assumes all transit & delivery risks and responsibilities.
We are not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies and it is not our responsibility to make the customer aware of these agencies and their actions. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.
For example, UK residents might expect a customs charge of at least 20% of the total cost of the purchase. The Kittie Treats Shop is not responsible for this payment. Your package may arrive at your local post office or delivery center and be held until pick-up and payment is taken care of.
If you neglect to pick up your package and it is returned to us, we will not refund the charge for original shipping.
Our returns policy also applies to international orders, however, international customers are responsible for paying the return shipping fees. As our shop is currently located in Hawaii, United States, any shipping costs for return orders is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are not responsible for damaged or lost shipments or shipping delays.
If you would like to return your order, please contact us at info@kittie-treats.com and we will give you a quote for the return shipping cost.
Should the Kittie Treats Shop mistakenly be invoiced directly for any duties or fees from the shipping company after delivery, we will email an invoice for the balance due. This will need to paid immediately.
As with domestic shipping, if a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, we are not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to re-route or re-ship the package.
If you have a USPS package marked as delivered but haven't received it, please contact your local mail facility (ie. Royal Mail in the UK).
In summary; you will have to pay taxes and duties in your own country. This is extra and we have no control over it. By purchasing a Kittie Treats Shop product, you acknowledge that you are aware of this and accept it as your financial responsibility.
International orders will take 3-4 weeks to arrive, on average. Please understand that there may also be shipping delays due to COVID restrictions, so it may take a little longer than expected for your package to arrive.
